{"id":2105,"date":"2013-04-05T05:16:27","date_gmt":"2013-04-04T23:46:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fusioninformatics.com\/blog\/?p=2105"},"modified":"2022-05-11T12:05:46","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T06:35:46","slug":"next-two-iphones-were-designed-under-steve-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fusioninformatics.com\/blog\/next-two-iphones-were-designed-under-steve-jobs\/","title":{"rendered":"Next Two iPhones Were Designed Under Steve Jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Apple\u2019s next two iPhones were designed before late Apple CEO Steve Jobs passed away in October 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">That revelation comes to us from San Francisco District Attorney George Gasc\u00f3n who has been in contact with Apple\u2019s government liaison Michael Foulkes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Gasc\u00f3n, who is working to spread technology capable of mitigating cellphone-related thefts in San Francisco, reveals that Apple won\u2019t be able to initiate a so-called \u201ckill switch\u201d on the iPhone any time soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The kill switch, as you might expect, can be remotely activated by a consumer if their cellphone is lost or stolen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to Gasc\u00f3n, the next two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fusioninformatics.com\/blog\/mobile-apps-iphone-app-industry\/\"><strong>iPhone<\/strong><\/a> models have already been designed \u2013 under Steve Jobs \u2013 and can\u2019t be reworked to include the kill-switch technology at this time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Apple\u2019s next two iPhones were designed before late Apple CEO Steve Jobs passed away in October 2011.
